Eight hundred accounts.
One lesson.
“After my 800th blown account I stopped asking what was wrong with my trading — and started asking what was wrong with my setup. Nothing was protecting me from myself.”
Tens of thousands in challenge fees. Hundreds of resets. For years I thought the problem was my strategy. It wasn't — my strategy was fine. My discipline wasn't. I'd hit my target, keep going, and give it all back before the close.
The turning point was watching a trader blow ten funded $50,000 accounts live, in a single tilt session. He wasn't a bad trader. He had no circuit breaker — nothing to stop him once emotion took the wheel. I watched it happen and thought: that's been me, dozens of times.
So I built the tool that didn't exist: one that connects to the broker and enforces the rules without requiring discipline in the moment. Something that treats me like the risk manager I couldn't be for myself.
PayoutGuard is that tool. I built it for myself first. Every serious funded trader needs it for the same reason: not because they can't trade — because no amount of willpower stops a revenge trade after a bad fill. A system does.
